Singeli Movement, founded by Abbas Jazza, is dedicated to bridging the gap between singeli artists and international audiences. Our mission is to empower artists through comprehensive management and booking services, alongside support with studio equipment, marketing tips, and press photos, visa procedures and more. We envision a collaborative and united scene where artists uplift each other, fostering creativity and innovation rather than competition. Singeli Movement has benefited from the backing of the Institut Francais of Dar Es Salaam and a strong partnership with Nyege Nyege Tapes, the label credited for having brought singeli music to the global stage. We are committed to promoting singeli's rich culture while collaborating with pioneering studios like Sisso Records and Pamoja Records who continuously evolve the genre.
